Mendham Twp. Cop Sues Police Department for Promotion, Damages

Officer Robert Wysokowski claims he has been retaliated against since 2005 for not adhering to illegal ticket quotas.

The Mendham Township Police Department is being sued by one of its veteran officers for promotion, punitive and compensatory damages, and damages for emotional distress. 

According to dailyrecord.com, Officer Robert Wysokowski, 43, says he’s been retaliated against since 2005 for not giving tickets to younger drivers and failing to meet ticket quotas. The command came from then-Sgt. Steve Crawford, the report said, who is now the department’s chief.
