Gerald Casale, Chester Pediatrician, Dies at 57

At just 57, Dr. Gerald Casale of Chester has died.

The beloved pediatrician lived in the same town his practice was located for more than 20 years, according to William J. Leber Funeral Home.

Casale is survived by his wife, Toni; children Olivia and Daniel, and a group of extended family members.

The doctor’s love for his craft and patients could be seen in the online grading forum healthgrades.com, where Casale received a five-star rating.

A celebration of Dr. Casale’s life will be held at William J. Leber Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m.

A 10:30 a.m. funeral mass will be held Friday, Sept. 20 at St. Lawrence Church on Main Street in Chester.
