School Board President Has Proven Track Record, Supporter Says

Kerri Wright's tenure on Chester school board has been filled with successes, according to Chester resident.

Dear Editor,

Kerri Wright is a strong, experienced candidate for the Chester K-8 Board of Education. During her six years on the board, Kerri has worked hard to ensure that the children of Chester receive a high-level educational experience that prepares them for all that the future holds.  At the same time, as a tax-payer and life-long resident, she has sought to control costs and balance the need to provide the best educational programming with the need to do so in a cost-effective manner.

Kerri has a proven track-record as the former Vice-President and current President of the Board.  She has led the board through contract negotiations, obtaining much needed additional instructional time for our children; the development of a strategic plan, which sought unprecedented community input, for the future of our schools; and recovery from substantial cuts to state aid, all without impacting the educational quality of our schools.
