Located at The Highlands at Morristown Station, next to the restaurant, The Godfather, Cambridge Wines is a new high-end wine store that also carries craft beer and spirits.

Co-owners Dinelli, 24, originally from New York, and Bernat, 22, a Mendham High School graduate, are taking advantage of the "BYOB" nature of many Morristown restaurants. This unique business offers a delivery service to businesses and homes, tastings and a beer and wine club.

“We’ve tasted everything on our shelves,” said Bernat. “We bring in wines that (are unique and not well-known). Some of them, under 1,000 cases are brought into the U.S. each year. All of our beers are craft beers and we have more than 50, which is the largest selction of craft beer in Morristown.”

Harvest Restaurant Group and 90 Acres "helped us choose a lot of the labels we have on our shelves. The two wine directors of both companies sat with us and helped us taste some wines that are very rare."

They added that the design of the place is similar to a loft or a typical high-end wine store one would find in New York City. The logo was created by local artist Tom Paniconi. Paniconi handpainted the Cambridge Wines logo onto the wall behind the register, and his artwork will be featured on the walls. Paniconi’s work will be for sale, and Bernat said that there will be an art gallery event in the future.

“We put in a 13-foot tasting bar,” said Bernat, adding that certain products can be tasted before purchasing. There will also be wine and whiskey tastings coming up soon.

Cambridge Wines also offers a Cambridge Dollars program where you get additional store credit if you pre-pay a certain amount.
