We all knew what they meant Emma. People are allowed to make mistakes. Are you the grammar police?Read More People like you are so annoying.

Those of you in Northeastern Monmouth County I recommend the web site //wordontheshore.com for yourRead More local news. In the month I have been reading it, I haven't seen one article about parent-suing teenagers, celebrity tanning salons, or bimbos with the initials KK visiting the Jersey Shore. Just good local news of the two-rivers area.

Not surprising at all. Honda dealers have seemingly used their cars' great reputations to bilkRead More their customers on Repair and Warranty Service work for decades. Suggestion to class action customers and your attorneys: Expand your review to the service side of these biznesses.

The service department is deceptive as well. I had a coupon for an $89.95 AC Service (regularlyRead More $100) The coupon reads and I quote "Our Honda-trained technicians will inspect and test your AC system for leaks, and add refrigerant if necessary". I presented the coupon and they (she) told me that freon is not included and it would cost $159.95 if they added any. The coupon may still be on the website.

I purchased a certified used suburban from Chevy 46 in Hackettstown, 30 days later it was towed in,Read More I had to buy a extended warranty because my one previous owner vehicle keeps breaking down, I have put several thousand into a vehicle that the dealership doesn't even want to buy back on a trade in.I wonder if they are the same owners or related to Honda 46. I have definitely been deceived on thus vehicles past maintenance and ownership.

For a snake expert to see the head and neck of a 14 foot snake and not able to grab it as it swamRead More past his leg, sounds like billable hours to me. I've owned and handled these snakes before and as an expert he should have been able to get the snake. If the snake wanted the man he would have went after him. I've had boas that would let a rat bite them without doing anything back. For the most part, these snakes will strike at you if they feel threatened, but will not kill for the heck of it. They kill to eat. Now granted a constrictor will throw his body around but if your not seen as prey they will not intentionally kill you. Doesn't seem as if he has much of a plan to capture the snake. Unfortunately it will probably be killed due to somebody else's irresponsibility!

Or those kids will pick the lettuce and grapes for minimal expense, so that you can buy cheapRead More produce. Because god knows Americans won't. They'll also likely bankroll the government programs that keep old people chugging along, in the form of sales taxes. Those are FAR more likely outcomes than them joining the same gangs they left their countries to get away from. But never let logic get in the way of a good rant, because 'Murka#1.

As a general premise, a vehicle that makes a left turn is nearly always found responsible forRead More causing an auto accident with a vehicle approaching from the other direction. The summons issued to the driver was for ‘Failure to yield’ not Careless driving. This can be confirmed by Officer Robinson of the Chester Borough P.D. Yes, the bushes are high and do obstruct visibility.
Jon Chimpo July 19, 2014 at 11:09 am

The shooter was an ex-con. He HATED police. For some reason, he has had enough. Maybe he was drunkRead More or stoned & didn't want to go back to jail. So he grabs a security guards gun & waits for the police to arrive & opens up on them. After killing the first cop the next two cops to arrive on the scene open up on him & kill him. If you look at the people who frequent Walmart, you get a clear, pathetic, pitiful, picture of theRead More core of the problem. Severely undereducated, easily brainwash-able, very apparent lack of self value. Perfect target voter for the republiscams. Without these types, the right wingers might eke out 10 pr 20% of the vote every election. Its no wonder why the red states are the poorest educated in the country.

A subject in Jersey City stabbed a security guard and took the guard's handgun. If the woman owns a gun legally she should know the laws period. Laws are the laws if we like themRead More or not. I hope they cut her a break for being honest but it is her responsibility to know the laws. Ignorance of Law is no defense in the United States.
William July 21, 2014 at 08:24 pm
Thank You jersey girl. When a person legally Buys a Gun a Responsibility and Accountability comesRead More along with it. Just as with a Drivers Lic. Even tho one is a Right and one is a Privilege. Ignorance is not Bliss. Plain and simple she broke New Jersey Law, No matter the excuse The court will decide not The Public Court of Opinions, Just because in Penn. one can walk in Buy a Gun and the law says you have a right to Carry, does not give you the same rights in any other states. And THUDNJ You really think The Federal GOV. would do a better job . IRS-VA- CIA -FBI Yea Right. And to repeat my Self To Obtain a New Jersey Firearm Purchasing Permit, Be it Pistol or Shotgun. It goes threw back Ground checks From Local Police , State Police and Federal ( FBI ) checks, So in essence She or any one from out of State should have more rights the a New Jersey Citizen. And THUDNJ it is The Federal Gov, Us Senators and Congress that are coming up with these screwy laws, So every time some one is found with a Loaded gun in their car from out of State or MEXICO where they bought it Legally Most with no Background Checks or Even a Drivers LIC. Where A Drivers LIC. will be given to the Illegals if obamanation has his way they just have to say I did not know it was Illegal I am Sorry, This whole story can go on and on with Opinions when IT IS THE LAW of New Jersey she Broke,

Geoff, so I guess Patrolman Robert Wysokowski a 16 year veteran of the Mendham police departmentRead More making a six figure a year salary was making all that stuff up about profiling, right? He made it all up cause he has nothing better to do? "Patrolman Robert Wysokowsk also charged that superiors “systematically train” younger officers to shine lights into moving vehicles to determine the age of drivers and passengers."
Geoff Cabral July 8, 2014 at 08:11 am
ADED: Patrolman Wysokowski's allegation has little to do with the intent of this article: MendhamRead More Police are arresting a lot of people which raises my concern that crime is on the rise in our little community. In any case, the fact that Wysokowski's allegation is under investigation by an outside agency doesn't yet mean it is true or false. Why not let the investigation proceed to reveal it's findings instead of jumping to a conclusion and piling on other unsubstantiated charges? Other similarly petulant folk could point out that the patrolman might be a malcontent, not a team player and/or simply jealous that others have been promoted over him due to his lesser performance. Pay and career advancement predominently based upon seniority is the main reason why public unions are problematic (see failing teachers not being fired, ridiculous work rules causing inefficiencies in labor performance, etc.). Just sayin'.

Kickbacks (GREED) is part of what makes drugs so expensive! Chris Christie - HERE is a good placeRead More to start with cleaning up NJ corruption. We all do not live down the shore. Come fix North Jersey too.
Geoff Cabral July 8, 2014 at 09:29 am
C'mon CC! What the heck does the Guv'nor have to do with allegations in a civil court case? Do youRead More want the Guv to be responsible for our trash pickup misadventures, too? The JS issues are natural disaster-related so, of course, that falls under Head-of-State purview. Potential corporate criminal matters are for our prosecutors to handle - ok? It seems a new national pastime to pile on CC for every ill or perceived pain in NJ. It's mostly public union driven aided by their willing accomplices in the msm, of course. Given that the prevailing lean economic times have finally caught up with the unrealistic bloated pensions and relatively short working careers of our "public servants," we real taxpayers shouldn't fall for their "death throw" histrionics. They need to wakeup and adapt to these economic times just like we did 2 decades ago....
