Boss Hog is a dog racist . : /
Heywood April 20, 2014 at 11:36 am
There would be no racists if it were not for certain segments of society behaving badly.
McCorry April 20, 2014 at 02:22 pm
NO NO NO Heywood you can't say that. segments of society is just a code for the no no thing.

Eric Rudolph was a racist, anti-semetic, militant, twisted religious zealout, murdering psycopath,Read More not a "right wing fanatic." He was absent political bent.

Speedy trial? Define speedy. Charles Manson and company committed the Tate/LaBianca murders inRead More 1969. The trial wasn’t until two years later. It took over a year before Jack Ruby went on trial for shooting Oswald. And the entire nation saw him do that on TV. The infamous Boston Strangler was caught in early 1964 but wasn’t sentenced until 1967. Its only on Law & Order that it goes from commission of the crime to sentencing in an hour.

Bail is high for a reason... Innocent people do not get a high bail. Are you joking? Why don't youRead More report on real news like the women who is fighting to keep her children away from her ex- husband who molested their daughter?

Look, it's pretty simple. This "test" facility doesn't belong in a densely populated areaRead More period! Several years ago, a test round crashed through a roof of a neighboring home and killed a family pet just missing a child. This facility should be closed, saving the taxpayers a ton of money, or moved to Arizona, Nevada, or Utah, they love this kind of stuff!

It does not say he stole radioactive crap he could have got that some were else he did steal itemsRead More from picatinny
Deb Sisco April 16, 2014 at 01:57 am
Yet, Picatinny's FD 'are trained in Radiological Isotope Detection' ...because...they don't haveRead More anything like that there? What's going on there that the population is not aware of? And the accused is a fool for having it in his home.

Drugs are on the way! If demand is there, and we know it is, supply will follow. It'sRead More Microeconomics 101, even a "caveman" can understand!
Not Domino April 15, 2014 at 01:50 pm
Sad but true, Clay. With these guys behind bars, others will move in to fill the gap. Where there isRead More big easy money to be made, someone will try to make it. Remove the demand, and the supply will fade away. That's the only way to make a long term change.

@John...now I understand what u were stating. Thank you for elaborating. I too get a bit frustratedRead More at the way they chose to word things in the stories they write. However, I do find it quite humorous to read some of the comments made n how upset n defensive some of the ppl get.

What's to "teach" about cyber bullying? Kids play on line 25 hours a day, and they sit inRead More ALL classes ALL DAY playing with their phones, and everyone knows it, but Mendham High School refuses to do anything about it. So now we're paying some guy to tell us what everyone already knows! We allow kids unlimited access to the internet, then we're "shocked" that they engage in this or that activity on the internet. Duh!

I see the self-esteem police have taken over the Patch, just as they have taken over publicRead More education. This bank-robbing loser was put in the Morris County "Correctional Facility." We can't say "jail" any more? Bad for inmates' self-esteem? Just like in school where the standards are lowered so everyone gets on the honor roll and the national honor society, every athlete gets a trophy, and no one takes a "test." Now it's an "assessment." "Correctional facility"....what bu****it!!!

How about crimes against the environment and working people. How about the legal chicanery of theRead More Supreme Court; corporations are people? How about the crime of being above the law or changing the law to legalize misconduct and policy of criminal actions by our leaders? We are all becoming victims of an uncaring unjust system that puts individual rights of property and corporate greed above the people and the future of life here on Earth.
Geoff Cabral April 4, 2014 at 09:41 am
Isn't it about time that banks locate their cameras 6' off the floor and closer to the faces ofRead More their "customers"? I realize that we are all using funny money, so the Fed will just "print" more, but someone could get hurt or killed during these bank robberies. Also, if Patch would like us to try to ID these perps, couldn't they allow their page be zoomed-in by the viewer? /end rant
Jim Copeland April 4, 2014 at 01:06 pm
Well, If you are going to rob someplace it might as well be a Bank----Thats where they have the mostRead More money on hand! Down here in FLA these boneheads are always robbing the 7/11s they get a grand haul of a few hundred dollars and the cashiers Casio wrist watch. There is a driver and two thugs 100 bucks each and not to bright. JC

So, does this mean that our local law enforcement officers will also give up hand held cell phoneRead More use while driving as well? What about township workers driving along in Government vehicles gabbing away! Yes, I'm sure these people are using hand held phones for "our good" ........... But come on! Set the example for us "lesser" non public paid folk! Pull over and talk just like we do!
Martin April 2, 2014 at 10:18 am
I was just saying to my wife yesterday that on my drive to work through Chester and up 206 North,Read More that a large percentage of the people I see going the other way are looking down at a cell phone texting/emailing or just looked up from looking down. It is getting to be a huge problem because it is not just a small population of young people doing it, but almost all ages and some with other adult passengers and children in the car. I am glad that the police are going after this aggressively, as it is almost as bad as other forms of impairment like driving while intoxicated.
Geoff Cabral April 4, 2014 at 10:15 am
Warning: though texting while driving is stupidly negligent, this "campaign" isn't justRead More targeting cell phone use while driving. I read elsewhere that anyone eating or drinking is subject to the vague, but expensive, "distracted driver" ticket. For the most part, this is revenue enhancement to help offset bloated/blown town budgets. Next, they'll have a ticket campaign for "hands not at 9&3"....

The TMZ video I just watched showed what it looked like to be Ray Rice pulling his drunk fiance outRead More of an elevator. He may have been mad at her and had a fight with her but I doubt he had intent to severely harm her or I'm sure she would be in critical condition right now. I am not a football fan or a Ray Rice fan.... I'm just calling it like it is.

willnj - ya I guess its far too much to ask for timely information from a state with a huge tax billRead More every year. NJ should absoluty be state of the art in everthying with as much money as they get. But instead all that money goes to the 100k pensions they all payout.
Wilnj March 31, 2014 at 02:42 am
@Madison - I so no graphics on that site that would given anywhere near the information thatRead More contained in the press releases. @John - While I agree with you, the pensions aren't going away so demanding more services is just going to add on to the tab, not replace something else.

>Ms. Staples: Certainly, the MTPD and our police Morris County-wide deserve kudos for such quickRead More work. But, this homeowner was just plain lucky.
