The Chester Township Police Department was established in 1957. The department is led by Chief Wayne Martini and consists of a detective bureau, traffic bureau, internal affairs unit and a D.A.R.E. unit. The department also offers firearms safety training, personal photo IDs, a program for the recovery of missing people, especially those with memory loss, house check service for those on vacation and more. Residents are encouraged to utilize these programs.
