Mendham a ‘Natural Pick’ for NJ’s Best Town, Mayor Says

New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s bi-annual “best places to live” list was announced this week, and Mendham Borough received the top designation. While at first a surprise to borough Mayor Neil Henry, he realized it was just a natural pick. Mendham Township and both Chesters also made their marks on the list of 514 ranked towns.

High School Test Scores Among State’s Best, Superintendent Aims Higher

At the West Morris Regional Board of Education meeting this week, Superintendent Mackey Pendergrast presented a group of data showing Central and Mendham High Schools rise in academic achievement over the past half decade. The numbers were impressive, and Pendergrast is pushing for more.
