New School Lunch Program

Pomptonian is proud to bring the Village Fresh School Lunch Program to Mendham Township and Borough Schools including MTMS, MTES, Mt. View MS, and Hilltop ES.  Village Fresh sources high quality ingredients and infuses healthy options into kid-appealing meals.  Our Village Fresh chef has created menu options that are healthy, tasty, and visually appealing.  Specialty items such as chopped salads, antibiotic and hormone-free chicken and all-natural beef selections are offered.  Only all-white meat, minimally processed chicken products are used, along with Boar’s Head brand deli meats and cheeses.  Monthly promotions such as sushi, homemade pasta day, and Belgian waffle day are conducted.  All meals include fresh fruits and fresh vegetables and a choice of hormone-free milk or water.  Village Fresh concentrates on including Jersey Fresh and locally sourced produce when in season.

In addition to the complete meal selections offered in the cafeteria, assorted healthful beverages are available to supplement the meal.  100% Juice, Pure Bottled Water, or Hormone-Free Milk are available for purchase.  Also available for snacking are a variety of Whole Grain Rich choices, Gluten-Free snack options, and Fresh Cut Fruit Salads. 

All meals are prepared fresh each day right here in Mendham.  Village Fresh will bring Mendham into the new food movement, increasing quality while keeping costs reasonable.
