Seahawks Player Surprises Hearing-Impaired Morris Girls With Super Bowl Tickets

Hand-written letters can go a long way these days. A little bit of technology helps, too. 

A set of 9-year-old twins from Roxbury, Riley and Erin Kovalcik, wrote a letter last week to Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman, the NFL's first legally deaf offensive player, calling him their "insperation" (sic) as they shared the same disability.

The twins' father, Jake Kovalcik, took a photo of the letter and sent it to Coleman via Twitter. The Super Bowl-bound player took notice, wrote his own letter back, and tweeted it to Kovalcik.

The story didn't end there, however, as Good Morning America got in on the action and surprised the Morris County girls this week in New York.

Sitting in for an interview with ABC's morning program, the Kovalcik's were surprised by a guest appearance from Coleman, who brought along enough Super Bowl tickets – provided by Duracell, whom Coleman endorses – for the entire Kovalcik family.

Multiple hugs ensued as "insperation" came into action. Watch the video for more.
