Mendham Pitcher’s Gem Brings Minutemen Seventh Win

Andrew Grieco was nearly untouchable in rout of Morris Catholic.

When your pitcher allows just three hits in seven innings, there’s a good chance the team is leaving the diamond with a win.

That’s how it went for the Mendham Minutemen Monday afternoon, as starting pitcher Andrew Grieco went the distance, allowing just a trio of hits and no runs to Morris Catholic, according to dailyrecord.com.

Mendham improved to 7-2 on the season with the 9-0 win, notching five runs in the seventh and final inning, the report said.
