Mendham Hoopsters Fall to Chatham
Minutemen boys overpowered 50-36 while the girls lost a heart-breaker, 43-42.
Despite owning a 19-16 halftime lead, the Mendham High School girls basketball team were done in at the last second at the foul line, dropping a Jan. 16 contest to Chatham, 43-42 according to a report from NJ.com.
The NJ.com story said Chatham's Natalie Washuta sunk the game winner with 19.8 seconds remaining in the tied contest.
The boys basketball team fared no better on Wednesday night, as they were overmatched by Chatham, 50-36 according to the NJ.com recap.
