Best in NJ? Fans Can Name Carpluk, Minutemen as Favorites in Poll

Show how much you truly love your high school football team.

It's no secret what the Mendham Minutemen football team accomplished this season, and everyone who enjoys the school's community had a very enjoyable season.

Now, nj.com is putting fandom to the test, and letting New Jersey residents vote on who they believe is the best coach and team of the 2013 season.

Part of the nominees for coach of the years is Mendham's leader, Bill Carpluk, who made his return to the sidelines in 2013 after a seven-season hiatus.

Then there's the Minutemen team that worked its way through an erratic regular season to knock off two higher seeded teams in the playoffs – including the defending champs – for a shot at the title at Rutgers University.

So, if you think your hometown Minutemen and their coach deserve to be named the best in the state, vote!
