Wright, Ronco Selected to Lead Chester School Board – Again

K-8 district swears in four members at reorganization meeting.

The Chester School District Board of Education swore in four members Monday night, and selected two of them to lead the body through 2014.

Kerri Wright, Heather Ronco, and Amy Collins all took the oath of office for three-year terms on the board after being elected in November from a field of five. Challengers included Carey Curry and Judi Irwin.

Wright and Ronco were incumbents, and Collins won the third open seat as the newcomer. She replaces Gary Lakritz on the board, who was elected to a three-year term on the West Morris Regional Board of Education in November.

The second order of business was to select a president and vice president on the board. Ronco nominated Wright, who previously served as president, and the board concurred unanimously.
