St. Joseph School Students Collect Goods, Donate to Chester Food Pantry

Eighth graders use Lenten to help others.

Lenten isn’t just about what food or special treat one should give up for a few weeks, it’s also about how to make the world a better place.

The St. Joseph School eight grade class in Mendham did just that recently, as school students and their families collected items like cereal, pasta and canned goods to donate to the Chester Food Pantry.

Students include: Meaghan Imossi; Bailey Romano; Mackenzie Hurley; Isabel Snee; Dani Schmidt; Kamille Woody; Olivia Vizzini; Mia Douglas; Morgan Spies; Marguerite Munley; Jeanine Aquino; Mairead Compton; Tessa Grabowski; Daniel Zarillo; Michael Contaxis; Philip Donald; Michael Cantaluppi; Liem Lynch; Keith Matirko; Zachary Amato; Max Lagana; Bobby Donald; Joseph Shelley; Melissa Donald; Cameron Fiore; and Caroline Neilson.

The group was led by eighth grade teacher Dorothy Kearney.
