New Officers, Schedule for Chester School Reorg
Chester Consolidated School District is scheduled Thursday to swear in a new board member, elect new officers and finalize 2013 meeting schedule.
Although they are still looking to fill the vacancy left when Laura Fishman resigned, the Chester Consolidated School Board will be swearing in some new blood in the form of Mike Tomasco, the write-in candidate who won the spot last November.
Tomasco joins the board of education during the Jan. 3 reorganization in time to vote for a new board president and vice-president, as well as confirming a series of annual appointments and committees.
But perhaps one of the more anticipated releases is the board meeting schedule for 2013, to be formalized Thursday night.
