Mendham School Celebrates National Award

St. Joseph School in Mendham celebrated its National Blue Ribbon School recognition with a reception at the school last Saturday evening.

Staff, parents, former principals and special guests gathered to celebrate this prestigious award given to St. Joseph School this past fall by the U.S. Department of Education. St. Joseph School was one of only 50 private schools in the nation to receive this distinction. 

Called the “Oscar of Education”, this National Blue Ribbon award honors public and private schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant improvements are being made in students’ levels of achievement. St. Joseph School, which educates children in grades Pre-K4 through 8, received the distinction as an “Exemplary High Performing School .”
