Interviews Set for Bragg Principal Candidates

Nearly two dozen applicants throw their hat into the ring to succeed Dan Johnson.

Outgoing Bragg School Principal in every sense. But there are 23 candidates that submitted themselves for consideration since last week.

Since that time, Superintendent Christina VanWoert and the search committee has been for the upcoming school year.

"We have a Committee of teachers and parents that will be chaired by me and Kerri Wright, our Chester Board of Education Vice-President and the Chair of our Personnel Committee," VanWoert said.

The first step of that process was narrowing the nearly two dozen applicants down to a reasonable number to interview. According to VanWoert, five candidates emerged from that pack and will be interviewed on Friday.
