Assistant Super Named in Regional District

West Morris Central, Mendham High Schools chief will have back up.

Robert Beers has been named as the West Morris Regional High School District's assistant superintendent.

The board of education voted unanimously for Beers, the then-assistant principal at West Morris Central High School, to be promoted to this role effective Feb. 1.

The position was created in May of 2012 with the primary "responsibility of providing leadership and vision to district-level programs in curriculum, supervision and evaluation, and professional development," Superintendent Mackey Pendergrast said in a statement to the community.

Beers taught history for 10 years and has been an assistant principal at both Central and Mendham High Schools, the statement said.

Beers' former position of assistant principal will not be filled, Pendergrast said, and each school will operate with two assistant principals.

When Pendergrast took over as superintendent in March 2012, his position of Director of Staff was not filled. At a recent board meeting, the district accepted the resignation of Dr. Alyce Hunter, a current assistant principal at Central and former Director of Curriculum in the district.

Democrats have no principles, look at the corrupt politicians they elect and keep in office:The Clintons, Obama Reid, Pelosi, Corizine, Menendez, Sharpe James.et al. Kevin FYI, your election defeat has EVERTHING to do with your behavior, you need to demonize someone in order to make yourself feel better and you don't know how to make friends outside your circle of ideologues This causes you to argue with anyone who challenges you, not to mention the constant obsessive personal attacks. Politics is consensus, not dictatorship.
