The middle of March is going to be hectic for the Chester Board of Education after the district announced three special meetings for the nine-member group in the course of a week.

On Tuesday, March 11, the board will convene for a special meeting regarding a personnel matter. The meeting will be held in executive session – closed to the public – and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Media Center of the Black River Middle School. The district said it does not expect formal action to be taken.

Just two days later, the board will meet again in an open session on Thursday, March 13 at 7 p.m. The meeting is being held for the purpose of a budget review, the district said, but does not expect formal action to be taken. This session will be held at the Board of Education building at 50 North Road.
