11 Mendham, Chester Natives Graduate Delbarton School

Class of 2014 had 129 graduates.

Nearly a dozen Mendham and Chester residents graduated the Delbarton School recently, all with intentions to attend high-ranking four-year colleges in the fall.

Delbarton’s class of 2014 included 129 graduates, 11 of which came from the Mendhams and Chesters.

  • Michael Benz of Chester who will attend University of Pennsylvania this fall.
  • Eric Douglas of Mendham Township who will attend Gettysburg College this fall.
  • Stephen Kovalsky of Mendham who will attend Wesleyan University this fall.
  • Michael McGourty of Chester who will attend Columbia University this fall.
  • Kevin Molnar of Mendham who will attend Washington & Lee University this fall.
  • Sean Morris of  Mendham who will attend University of Notre Dame this fall.
  • Declan Nowak of Chester who will attend Lehigh University this fall.
  • Nicholas Preziosi of Mendham who will attend Bucknell University this fall.
  • Thomas Rhodes of Mendham, a National Merit Commended student who will attend University of Notre Dame this fall.
  • Derek Speedy of Chester who will attend Harvard College this fall.
  • Jared Stroud of Chester who will attend Colgate University this fall.

Delbarton’s graduation ceremony had Kathleen DeChiara, president and chief executive officer of Community Food Bank of New Jersey as its keynote speaker. DeChiara is a former Delbarton mother.
