New Councilman to be Sworn in for Chester Twp.

Reorganization meeting will see a new councilman sworn in and council president chosen.

Chester Township Mayor Bill Cogger isn't going anywhere in 2013, but the supporting players around him are changing.

At the reorganization meeting Wednesday night Jacki Spinelli will be sworn in, replacing Brian Murphy who chose not to seek reelection in a contested race. Spinelli is not the only person receiving a statement of determination.

Current council president Karen Powell is also re-upping for a full three-year term and might be appointed again. Also on the agenda is the new year's committee appointments, professional appointments and the establishing of the schedule for the calendar year.
