Nick Salamone to be sworn into the Chester Township Police Department and Comcast expected to be granted permission to operate.

After a reorganization that saw Karen Powell re-elected board president and Jacki Spinelli joining the dais in place of Brian Murphy, Chester Township is moving forward in their first full meeting of 2013 with another new face.

Nick Salamone is on the agenda to be sworn in as an officer in the Chester Township Police Department at Tuesday night's meeting of the mayor and council, being held at 7:30 p.m. at the Chester Township Municipal Building.

Also on the agenda is the second reading and public hearing on an ordinance that would be granting municipal consent to Comcast Of Central NJ II to construct, connect, own, operate and maintain a Cable Television And Communications System within the Township of Chester.
