For the summer months, Mendham has hired an interim borough administrator to fill the shoes of recently-departed Ellen Sandman.

Casey comes with a wealth of experience, having served as city manager for Hackensack and township manager for Roxbury and Mount Holly townships. Casey retired from full-time service in 1999 but has worked as a municipal consultant, acting as interim administrator for a variety of towns throughout the state, Henry said.

Sandman left her post with Mendham earlier this year to take a job as Business Administrator in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township. Sandman spent seven years in Mendham Borough.
