Chester Teen Receives Congressional Gold Award From Rep. Lance

Raja Atluri of Chester capped his school year with a major honor, garnering a Congressional Gold Award. 

The honor is given to students for achievement and excellence in citizenship, character building and community service.

“Atluri earned his recognition for his volunteer work as a tutor and role model,” according to a statement from Congressman Leonard Lance’s office. Atluri was presented the honor by Lance, Congressional Award Program Chair Paxton Baker, and actor Nick Cannon.
