Budget Season Begins in Chester on Tuesday
Joint budget meeting of Chester Borough and Chester Township councils Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. in Chester Township.
Budget season doesn't officially begin until the Chester Township and Chester Borough Councils sit down for their big joint meeting.
And on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Chester Township Municipal Building they will do just that. As they always do, both mayors and councils will discuss and review budget requests from Fire Company, First Aid Squad and Library Board.
At the conclusion of the joint meeting, the Chester Township Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on site, while the Chester Borough contingent will return to the Chester Borough Town Hall for their own meeting.
