Budget, Red Lights on Mendham Borough's Plate

In what appears to be the calm before the budget season storm the Mendham Borough Mayor and Council are meeting Monday night at 8 p.m. at the Garabrant Center with a light agenda.

Included on the list for consideration Monday night is a red light permit application from Mendham First Aid Squad Captain Paula Oswald as well as updates to the yearly reorganization appointments.

The Borough is also expected to renew their application for recertification to be a Tree City USA. The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters and provides direction, technical assistance, public attention, and national recognition for urban and community forestry programs, according to the Arbor Day Foundation.
