$182K Granted to Mendham Borough Schools for Building Repairs

Funds will help complete masonry, window repairs at Hilltop Elementary School.

Mendham Borough Schools have received $182,799 in grant funding from the state to help complete masonry and window repairs this year, the New Jersey Schools Development Authority announced.

The grant supplements the district’s local contribution of $274,199 to fund masonry repairs and window replacements at Hilltop Elementary School.

Mendham’s funding comes a year after Governor Chris Christie announced nearly a half billion dollars in grants would be made available to the state’s 559 regular operating districts and 21 county vocational technical school districts.
