Woman Flips Car on Route 206 in Chester

A Succasunna woman was sent to the hospital after running off the road, Chester Township Police said.

A 21-year-old Succasunna woman was injured Sunday night when her car overturned near the border of Chester and Mt. Olive, Chester Township Police said.

According to Lieutenant Tom Williver, Ptl. Stephen Notte reponded to a call for an overturned vehicle shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Williver said the accident site was near the Plant Detective business on route 206. Upon his arrival, Notte found the 2008 Hyundai operated by Caitlin Greene in the northbound lane, Williver said

According to Williver, Greene was traveling north on 206 when she ran off the right side of the road, struck several objects and a retaining wall before coming to a stop.

Williver said Greene was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries and was issued a summons for failure to maintain lane.

Greene has an appearance scheduled in Chester Township Municipal Court, police said.
