Whitney Houston’s Family Granted Access to Locked Up Belongings

County sheriff can use forcible entry if necessary, judge rules.

The estate of Whitney Houston, which claims being locked out of the late singer’s Mendham Township mansion and unable to retrieve belongings, has been granted access by a judge.

According to nj.com, Judge Donald Coburn in Morristown gave the county sheriff access to enter the former Houston home and by force if necessary.

A lawsuit was filed by Marion Houston, the sister-in-law of Whitney Houston, earlier this month against CPMG Mendham LLC and the home’s new owners, claiming requests to retrieve the belongings still inside the mansion were denied.

There are 91 items being sought by Houston’s estate, the report said, including a Porsche, baby grand piano and paintings.
