Snow Led To Route 206 Accident, Chester Police Say
Route 206 closed in Chester for 30 minutes in Saturday after Hopatcong man crashes his car.
A 19-year-old Hopatcong man overturned his vehicle Saturday on Route 206 near Old Chester Road on Saturday, Chester Township Police said.
Christopher Moore lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway, Lt. Tom Williver said. The vehicle left the roadway, went up an embankment, struck a tree, rolled over once, and came to rest on its wheels, Williver said.
Moore was not injured in the incident, and Route 206 was closed for approximately 30 minutes, Williver said.
