Pleasant Hill, Colby Farm Road Paving to Cause Week of Delays, Detours

Four days of alternating lanes and detours to be set for Chester Township construction.

The middle of this week will bring a slew of traffic delays and closures to through traffic as two major roadways undergo construction.

Paving on Pleasant Hill Road and Colby Farm Road in Chester Township will impact motorists throughout the week.

Beginning Tuesday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., milling on Pleasant Hill Road between Prides Crossing and Reger Road will result in one lane of alternating traffic, Chester Township police said.

On Wednesday, July 23, milling on Colby Farm Road from Walton Way to the Route 206 intersection will be closed to motorists except for local traffic. A detour from Rt. 206 to Rt. 24 will be established.

On Thursday, July 24, paving on Pleasant Hill Road between Prides Crossing and Reger Road will result in one lane of alternating traffic.

Finally, on Friday, paving on Colby Farm Road from Walton Way to the Rt. 206 intersection. The same detour as was used on Wednesday will be established again on Friday.

Police officers will be established at both locations and directing traffic.
