House Fire Kills Man in Mt. Olive

Authorities have yet to release identity of man killed Wednesday.

A house fire on Flanders-Drakestown Road in Mt. Olive Township killed a man Wednesday afternoon and severely damaged the structure.

According to nj.com, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday night one man inside the home had been killed as a result of the blaze.

The road was closed for several hours between Mount Olive Road and Tinc Road Wednesday while firefighters knocked down the fire and continued rehab operations, the report said.
