Drug Dealer Had Crack, Heroin, Pot in Car, Chester Twp. Police Say

Rahway man pulled over for not dimming high beams on Route 206, police report.

A routine traffic stop on Route 206 last week led to the discovery of numerous narcotics in a Union County drug dealer's car, Chester Township Police said.

Johnny Elliot, 31, of Rahway, was stopped last Tuesday on Route 206 for failure to dim his high beams, Lt. Tom Williver said.

While speaking with Elliot, the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which led to a search of the car, Williver said. During the investigation, Chester Township police found suspected crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Williver said.
