Chester Township Names New Lieutenant

Veteran Sergeant Tom Williver to be elevated in June.

 

Brian Murphy and Karen Powell announced to the other members of the Chester Township Council at the meeting last week that Chester Township Police Sergeant Tom Williver will be promoted to Lieutenant in June.

The announcement came after a round of interviews that were completed last week. Williver is a 12-year veteran of the Chester Police, coming to the force in 1999 after three years as a patrolman in Morris Plains.

Williver is a former Aviation Electrician's Mate 3rd Class for the Coast Guard and is a graduate of Centenary College.
