Chester PD to Host ‘Operation Take Back’ for Borough Residents

Statewide initiative is free and anonymous.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, Chester Borough residents can safely get rid of unwanted, unused or expired medications at a drop-off location being hosted by the local police.

As part of Operation Take Back, Chester is one of hundreds of local police departments that will host the event. Residents can bring their unwanted or expired medications – both liquid and in pill form – to the drop-off location at 50 North Road in Chester.

No syringes or sharp objects are permitted. Any liquid medicine should remain in its container with the lid tightly screwed on.

The event is free to the public and residents can drop off their products anonymously.
