Alleged 'Forced Entry' Burglars Arrested

Chester Township Police arrest three in connection with a pair of business and a home burglary the week of May 13.

The Chester Township Police arrested two men and a woman who may be linked to the recent burglaries in Chester, Lt. Thomas Williver said.

On May 22, Lt. Edward Noonan and Detective Brian Gill interviewed three suspects being held by the Montville Township Police Department, Williver said. 

After completing their interviews, 27-year-old Natalie Johnson and 25-year-old Eric Allred of Morristown and 19-year-old Michael Blackman of Randolph were each charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of criminal mischief, one count of theft, three counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and three counts of criminal trespassing, Williver said.

Chester Township police had been investigating a residential burglary and two commercial burglaries that occurred during the week of May 13, Williver said.

All three burglaries involved forced entry through more than one entry point, Williver said.

The two businesses hit were located on Route 24, while the home that was struck was on Spring Lake Drive, Williver said. Forced entry was gained at all three burglaries through various entry points.

Johnson was released pending an appearance in Morris County Superior Court while Blackman and Allred, who were already in the Morris County Correctional Facility, were served with Chester Township complaints with bail set at $20,000 with no 10 percent option.

Each are scheduled for an appearance in Morristown Superior Court, Williver said.
