Brookside Beach in Mendham

Hi -- Does anyone else feel this beach should be open aftr 6:30 p.m. ? 
As it is, the hours (11:30 - 6:30) are useless for practically anyone who works. It would be nice to get off the train, come home, go take a swim, at say, 7 or 7:30. As is, this lovely beach is only useful for mothers and young children. . thoughts?
