'Selfless' Grandmother, Mendham Resident Dies at 88

Mary Hilton’s favorite pastime was to help others in need.

The Mendham resident of nearly 25 years passed away at the Holly Manor facility on Jan. 16 at the age of 88, according to her obituary.

Hilton moved to Mendham in 1989 and was a Communications Operator for Schering Corp. in Kenilworth for 25 years before retiring.

Hilton was selflessly devoted to her family and friends, the obituary said, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a son, daughter and five grandchildren.
