Multiple Sclerosis Claims Life of Chester Twp. Resident

Betty Ann Thaiss courageously battled disease for nearly 30 years.

For nearly 30 years, Betty Ann Thaiss battled multiple sclerosis. 

The Chester Township resident of 35 years died at Morristown Medical Center on Thursday, Oct. 10 from the disease, according to her obituary at williamjleberfh.com.

Thaiss was diagnosed with the disease when she was just 31-years-old, the obituary said. The strong and courageous fighter was a former Information Technology Manager with Avaya in Basking Ridge.

She is survived by her husband, Norman, of 37 years and her daughter Julia.
