Great Grandmother, Former Chester Woman Dies at 99
Margaret Chambers lived in Chester for 22 years before moving to Long Valley.
Margaret “Peggy” Chambers spent nearly 50 years in western Morris County, 22 of which were in Chester.
Even more impressive, Chambers lived to the amazing age of 99.
She died recently at her home in Long Valley, according to her obituary.

Chambers enjoyed sewing and swimming and lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two grandsons and three great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter and two sisters. Chambers would have turned 100 on September 2 this year.
