Army Veteran, Lifelong Chester Resident Dies at 80

Harry Brodeen was the owner of Oakdale Auto Repair.

Harry Brodeen Jr. was a lifelong resident of Chester and an established business owner on Oakdale Road for years.

The 80-year-old United States Army veteran died at the VA Hospital in East Orange recently, according to his obituary. 

Brodeen owned Oakdale Auto Repair on Oakdale Road and love working, A favorite pastime of his was to ride around in his truck with his dog, Rex. Brodeen could often be seen eating breakfast at Mini Mac Diner and having drinks at Bernie’s.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter.
