Active Church Member, Chester Resident of 43 Years Dies
Patricia Buchanan is survived by her husband of 51 years.
Patricia Buchanan was a Chester staple, having lived there the past 43 years.
The longtime resident passed away Saturday at Morristown Medical Center, according to her obituary.
Buchanan was born in Newark and later became a secretary for Sun Life of Canada Life Insurance Company in East Orange. During her time in Chester she was an active member of Mendham Hills Community Church.

Buchanan is survived by her husband, Robert, of 51 years; a son; a daughter; and seven grandchildren.
A celebration of Patricia Buchanan’s life will be held at William J. Leber Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 15 Furance Road. Funeral services will be held at Mendham Hills Community Church on Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m.
