Rainbow Loom Class over MLK school break

Looking for a fun way to spend your day off from school? Join Chester Recreation for an exciting Rainbow Loom class offered on January 20th, 10am-12pm at the Barn in Chester. 

Learn cool new designs and charm making and participate in the Show and Tell Gallery by bringing your own items from home. Children will have the opportunity to display their class creations at the Chester Library display Gallery.

Chester Recreation Rainbow Loom Class is for children ages 6-14+ who are Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. This class is open to those looking to learn the basics as well as those who are looking to enhance their loom skills. Students will be divided into groups by level with class instruction provided by 5 Divas of Chester. Beginners will work on basic designs emphasizing technique and proper band placement to follow a pattern. Intermediate/Advanced Loomers will be introduced to a primary design with a supplemental design on hand for those that complete their first design and as time permits.

 All children will be placed in groups according to skill level the day of the program. Loomers will have the opportunity to watch & participate in a charm making demo if time permits. Children are encouraged to bring their home creations to share with the class for show and tell held at the beginning of the program .
Children can choose to participate in our Chester Recreation Rainbow Loom Gallery which will take place in the children's room display case at the Chester Library during month of February. Here they can show off their class creations to family and friends!

Class Requirements: Loomers must bring their own loom. Bands are supplied as well as course instruction. Course Fee: Includes instruction and Rainbow Loom Bands $10 per student. No Refunds offered for this class. Class held indoors on 1/20 from 10am-12pm at the Highlands Barn located at 100 North Rd in Chester and is open to all in the community. This is a drop off class and we encourage carpooling whenever possible. Please label your loom for identification purposes. Questions?
