Music in Mendham

The first concert on the Music in Mendham Concert Series at St. Mark's Church will be on Sunday January 27th at 3:00 PM, featuring classical guitarist Loren C. Fortna. Fortna is on the guitar faculty of the John J Cali School of Music at Montclair State University as well as a music teacher in the Springfield Public Schools. He was a featured "Spotlight" performer at the 2000 and 2006 Triennial National Assemblies of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and was described as "...displaying impressive attention to detail and nuance. His deep admiration and understanding of the music of Piazzolla was riveting" by Soundboard Magazine.
Admission is free. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
