Frelinghuysen Has Plan to Restore Jobs, Create Growth, GOP Chairwoman Says

Rep. seeking 11th consecutive term in 2014.

Dear Editor,

I am writing to voice my support for the reelection of our Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen. Rodney is a fiscal conservative who understands that restoring increased growth to the economy and restoring increased job creation in the private sector are top priorities for Congress, and he has a plan to accomplish this!

Rodney has worked to cut federal spending and knows that in order to live within our means, Congress should enact significant federal budget cuts and spending controls.  He supports lowering tax rates for individuals and businesses to no more than 25%, down from the top federal rate of 39.6%, and making the tax code more fair and simple. Washington’s out of control spending on government programs and continual borrowing has led to a national debt, which surpasses $17 trillion. Rodney supports incorporation of a Balanced Budget amendment to the US Constitution in order to get our spending and debt under control. He will vote to repeal and replace Obamacare and put an end to this legislation that is destroying the creation of private sector jobs, increasing our taxes and diminishing the quality   of our healthcare system.

Another top priority for Congress is strong national security. Rodney was made chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee in 2013, which oversees billions of dollars spent on our defense and intelligence. Because he has been a member of this important defense subcommittee for many years and has participated in numerous Congressional fact-finding trips to the Middle East, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Rodney has gained the experience, knowledge and expertise to be an important leader in Congress, overseeing and strengthening our military and our nation’s security.

For these reasons, I urge voters to support Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen on June 3rd in the Republican Primary.
