Vacancy Vision: What Should Go Here?

This week we want to know what should fill this vacancy at 106 East Main Street in Mendham.

The complex sits on the edge of Mendham Borough and Mendham Township, right off of Route 24 and the track into Jockey Hollow.

Yet for all of the positives for the location, there is still a vacancy in the Coldwell Banker Plaza here at 106 East Main Street.

So what do you folks want to see here?

Personally I would like some sort of market where I could pick up a beverage on the way to a council meeting....

Eleanor, are you hungry? Hahaha...I like the ice cream shop idea. But I am a little tired of the Dunkin Donuts everywhere! I havent seen a Carvel in forever. I miss cookie puss.

NOT another bank, nail salon, pet food store, that's for sure. How about something we can EAT? Love the ice cream/yoghurt idea. We used to have those here...sad not to have in a child-focused town like Mendham...

You know, I hear that a lot when I am around town. People are hungry! Where do you guys go for ice cream now? There isn't an ESTABLISHED place in Mendham, is there? Like Magic Fountain in Summit or Cliff's in Roxbury. Well, it took 20 years of residents asking to get a barbershop in back in Mendham. Maybe we can all sit down to a banana split sooner than that...

Ice cream for sure!!! I was just thinking about the lack of an ice cream place today. I still miss emack & bolio. It was a great summer spot...

So where do you guys go for ice cream now? Do you venture into Chester or Morristown? I know I end up going to Cliff's in Roxbury when I am really in the mood for soft serve.
