Signs of Spring Nature Hike

Last chance to go searching for the first signs of spring at the Schiff Nature Preserve.

 

Warmer than average winters lead to early blossoms in the spring season. Today is your last chance to join the Schiff Nature Preserve on their quest to find the sprouts and buds peeking out into the rosy fingered dawn.

The hike is free and starts at 2 p.m..

The Schiff Nature Preserve aims to preserve open space and foster environmental and educational stewardship. There is a nature center that is open to the public, offering various recreational and research activities. This organization also provides educational programs for all ages such as nature walks, home-school classes, eco-friendly birthday parties and a variety of other activities. Volunteer opportunities are available at Schiff.
