Rt. 10 Death, Cyber-bullying Tops July News

A tragic accident took the life of a teenager in Randolph, a Mayor in Mendham took umbrage at a Facebook page and a former heroin addict told her story at the Daytop hearings were among the most read stories on Mendham-Chester Patch this July.

We've had a busy month of July in Mendham and Chester as some of our tertiary communities had big stories that we brought to you. Of course, there was also plenty of that solid home grown news you know an love!

So without further adieu, here are the top nine stories of July.

Brian Smith died when he was struck by a furniture truck on Route 10 in Randolph. The accident closed the road and stunned a community.

The first part of our opiate drug series based off of some powerful testimony provided to the the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Task Force on Heroin and Other Opiate Use Amongst New Jersey's Youth and Young Adults.
