Sustainable Sunday Supper at The Black Horse

The Black Horse Tavern hosts March 25 meal featuring all locally sourced products.

Join on Sunday, March 25 as they team up with Highlands Dinner Club and Grassroots, for the Second Edition of the Morris County Sunday Supper Series.

This seven course wine & beer pairing will bring together local chefs, farmers, educators, innovators and entrepreneurs to celebrate and interact around the table. The event will focus on showcasing some of NJ’s top culinary players along with highlighting several local breweries & wineries that will create a meal made from locally sourced products.

While celebrating the 270th year of The Black Horse Tavern, there will be several presentations by local agricultural innovators and educators, Camille Miller, Executive Director of NOFA NJ which offers agricultural education programs and the Farm Incubator program at Duke Farms, and Doctor Ron Weiss, founder of The Promised Land in Long Valley, New Jersey.

The goal of this series is to bring together the community and celebrate the sustainability of NJ and the cuisine that stems from our local farms and purveyors.
