'Robin' Comes Home to Roost: 'Nest' Opens in Chester With Organic Offerings

New restaurant launched by Publick House bar manager.

Robin Taylor’s business acumen coupled with a desire to serve healthy foods to customers made her newest venture a no-brainer.

The namesake of one of Chester’s newest businesses, Robin’s Nest, Taylor’s small restaurant at 52 Main Street, Unit 1 is serving up organic, pesticide and GMO-free, gluten-free and vegan offerings.

Robin’s Nest has a variety of offerings between breakfast and dinner to go, with 80-percent of the food offered being certified organic. The menu includes omelets and pancakes, organic coffees and juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and a range of dinners.

Taylor has spent the past eight years as the bar manager at the Publick House.

“We are passionate about food and want our customers to feel as good as we do about eating organically which is the best choice for a healthier body and mind,” said Taylor in a statement. “You are what you eat and my desire is for my guests to have more energy and leave happy because they made a good choice. I truly believe that one of my purposes on this earth is to guide people on how to eat better and show my guests the benefits of eating healthy and juicing which leads to weight loss and helping cure certain illnesses.”

The Nest is open between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. seven days a week, and catering is also available. More information can be found at blisscateringnj.com.
